Advantage Testing Foundation Math Prize for Girls

Math Prize for Girls is great! We love this program because it promotes the idea that girls are as smart and capable at math (and science) as boys. The annual contest is the brain child of Ravi Boppana, the co-director of math at Advantage Testing and is targeted at middle and high school students in the US. Top prize is $25,000 so the competition is fierce. Though not as extensive an application form as TRIALS, there is still quite a bit of information that needs to be gathered for proper evaluation and selection of the participants. We really have only one thing to say about the Math Prize site and that is: "Girl Power!"
